Ex-President Jean Bertrand Aristide sends a voice recording message to Haiti and calls out its leaders.
A tape has recently surfaced in Port-au-Prince with the voice of Haiti's ex-president, Jean Bertrand Aristide with strong messages of hope, holliday wishes to the people and direct jabs at the current administration and at his one-time ally, current President, Rene Garcia Preval. Sources close to radio stations and ex-members of Aristide's old cabinet and those close to the current president claim that the voice sounds authentic, though no confirmation has been received from the International Community. Mr. Aristide in several instances mocks the current government and speaks of the hardships of the people. He uses by name some members of the government and his ex-protege and mentioned how LESPWA, the party of current President Rene G Preval has violated the laws of the land and made broken or empty promises to the suffering masses. He superfluously makes a point of the constant "pillage" of the monies sent to ensure clean elections by the International Communities, elections that he said were selections of the higher ups and not of the people. Mr. Aristide also speaks of the multitude of riches that Haiti possesses including gold, zinc, copper and some possible elemental-class minerals. Zanmi will do its best to come up with the live version of said message and will have it posted as soon as possible. |
